When traveling and on the go, it’s always nice to have that second screen but it’s hard to find a lightweight portable solution that doesn’t take up a lot of space and is also easy to use plus high quality. Here’s my go to favorite travel monitor setup.

THE MONITOR
The most important part. Dimensions of 0.39 x 15.5 x 9.6 inches so about the size of your typical 16″ MacBook Pro and weighing in at 1.59 pounds. It is powered by your laptop via the USB C cable and is as easy as unboxing it, plugging it in and start working.
the Monitor Stand
Dimensions of 5.9 x 3.9 x 7.8 inches and weighing in at 1.32 pounds, the portable stand is really easy to use. It tri-folds and also rotates 360° meaning you will always have the monitor facing you at the ideal angle. You can also adjust how perpendicular the screen is and it goes completely flat at 90° which is what I like to use making the screen feel basically like a monitor from my home office.
the usb c to usbc cable
Dimensions of 39.37 x 0.39 x 0.2 inches and weighing in at 2.08 ounces, this is a simple, well built cord that is reliable and gets the job done. Have never had any connectivity issues nor wear or tear from regular use. It’s my old reliable go to travel cord.
